16U Serve Receive Clinic – COED Join Ethos Athletics for our 16U Serve Receive Clinic in Fredericton, NB! This 90-minute clinic is designed to help athletes improve their passing technique, develop better serve receive awareness, and become more confident, consistent, and effective passers. Throughout the session, athletes will work on the technical and tactical aspects of serve receive, learning how to create a consistent passing platform, move efficiently to the ball, adjust to different types of serves, and communicate effectively with teammates. Clinic Details - Date: Monday, December 21, 2026 - Time: 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM - Location: NMS Field House – Fredericton, NB - Age Group: 16U (Coed) - Duration: 90 Minutes - Head Coach: Connor McConnell Training Focus Platform Technique & Ball Control Develop proper platform mechanics, including body positioning, platform angles, and contact points to improve passing accuracy and consistency. Serve Receive Footwork Learn efficient movement patterns and footwork techniques to get into the proper position before contacting the ball. Focus on moving quickly, maintaining balance, and creating opportunities to pass within a comfortable range. Reading & Adjusting to Different Serves Learn how to recognize different serve trajectories, speeds, and movements. Develop the ability to adjust positioning, footwork, and platform angles to effectively receive short, deep, and moving serves. Communication & Passing Seams Understand how to identify and manage passing seams within different serve receive formations. Learn how to communicate effectively with teammates, establish passing responsibilities, and make confident decisions when receiving serves between passers. The Ethos Training Experience At Ethos Athletics, we focus on developing athletes through detailed technical instruction, purposeful repetitions, and game-like training situations. Our goal is to help athletes become more confident, technically sound, and consistent passers who can adapt to different serves and contribute to a stronger team serve receive. Spots are very limited to maintain a small group size, ensuring every athlete receives maximum repetitions, individualized coaching, and detailed feedback throughout the clinic. Optional Camp T-Shirt – $25 Athletes who would like an Ethos Athletics T-shirt can purchase one at the camp for $20. T-shirts are optional and are not included in the registration fee.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Cancellations can be made online at any time through the Manage Booking link in your booking confirmation email or through the My Bookings section of our website. - 10 days or more before the event: Cancellations are eligible for a refund of the registration fee, minus a 2.9% + $0.30 payment processing fee incurred at the time of registration. Once your booking has been cancelled online, we will process your refund to the original payment method. - Less than 10 days before the event: Cancellations are non-refundable. You may still cancel your booking online to notify us that you will not be attending. If you experience any difficulties cancelling your booking, please contact us at contact@ethosathletics.ca. General Liability and Media Release: By Completing the Purchase - I hereby give my approval for my child's participation in all activities prepared by this organization, during the selected camp, sessions and academy. In exchange for the acceptance of said child's candidacy by this organization, I assume all risks and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless this organization, as well as all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from all liability for injuries to the said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from camp and camp activities. In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against the organization, including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. I give permission for my child to be photographed or recorded during the volleyball academy by Ethos Athletics. I understand these photos/videos may be used for promotional purposes including, but not limited to, the organization’s website, social media accounts, printed materials, or digital marketing. I understand that no personal identifying information (name, age, etc.) will be shared without additional consent.
